Childhood Health:

Food and drink nutrition: A balanced diet with proper consumption of water is essential for childhood development. Children should be having 1.3 - 1.7 liters of fluids a day.

Vitamins and Minerals: Children should be taking Vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E. They should also be taking minerals such as Calcium, Iron and Zinc.

Exercise and activity: Childhood activity is essential for development of the minds and bodies for children. Physical activity is encouraged to reach at least 60 minutes a day.

Feeding your Child: 

Fruits: 2-5 year olds should be getting one to one and a half cups a day

Vegetables: 2-5 year olds should be getting one to two cups a day

Grains: 2-5 year olds should be getting three to five ounces per day

Protein: 2-5 year olds should be getting three to five ounces per day

Dairy: 2-5 year olds should be getting two to two and a half cups per day

 Protein: Chicken, fish, beef, turkey, eggs, dairy

Grains: wheat, barley, oats, rice, rye, quinoa

Vegetables: Carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, green beans, kale, spinach, peas, cucumbers, onions, peppers

Fruit: Apples, bananas, oranges, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, grapes, grapefruit, dragon fruit, lemons, limes, cantaloupes, watermelons, pears, honeydew

Dairy: Milk, cheese, yogurt,
